I just logged on to add a blog and noticed that Scott had the same thought this morning. I wanted to add a few strides that Nate has been taking. While on vacation (the 20th in fact), Nate had 2 more teeth come in. He now has 2 on the botton and 4 on the top. He tried a bunch of fruit that I can’t even remember the names for. We had a fun time at Robert is Here in Homestead picking out fruit that we can’t get up here.
At Jason’s house Nate crawled directly to the stairs and climbed up them without hesitation. It was only about 4 or 5 steps. After we got to my parents however he did the same thing again and he made it 3/4 of the way up there stairs before he turned to me and that was about 15 steps.
Nate has been caught free standing for a few seconds at a time. These seem to be times when he is doing something and not thinking about it and as soon as he realizes, he grabs on to something. On Tuesday I was able to count to 5.
Nate also is somewhat able to walk behind his pushy thing on wheels. He doesn’t seem interested in going too far, but he has the idea.
Yesturday with clothes on he weighed a little over 22 lbs. This is a huge gain since his last appt. a month ago. Maybe it was all the time in the car sitting and eating and all the time in the stroller sitting around.
This morning Nate does seem a little happier and less clingy, we will see how the day goes.
