Some time ago I pulled a *mind map* (or conceptual map) of the Learning Object Metadata (LOM) specification produced by the IEEE off of the listserv that is associated with the specification’s development. Incedentially, as of this past June, the LOM specification was approved as a fully accredited IEEE standard.
So apparently someone’s installed something to cache my site within the UW network. Whenever I make a post….it appears as if nothing happened to the main site until I wait….and wait…..and wait….OH there it is. I checked with a friend and he’s able to see everything no problem so….Maybe I’m just accessing the site too much so someones decided to *help* me out.
Office Tip:Oh I should also mention that its generally NOT a good idea to pull up really hard on a keyboard desk extension thingy. I don’t know what the official *term* is for these things, but its the arm that slides out with the keyboard and mouse on a platform to make it more ergonomic. I tend to lean on it, and it pivots downward, and I periodically have to adjust it by pulling upward on it. As we all know, most things have their limit, and my keyboard ’shelf’ was ripped off its supports as the screws that held it in place finally let go.

I’m still getting my head back in the groove of things after having been out in the woods canoeing an hour north of International Falls, MN in Canada. But its cool to stumble across The Open LMS Foundation. Who is attempting to build an open source LMS that is geared toward SCORM compliance. I was wondering when I’d stumble across something like this.
